Today the band played at the funeral of Robert Francis Jones. Francis was a giant in the world of brass bands, and his contribution to the Oakeley Band over many years was invaluable.
As a player, committee member and Honorary Life President, his support was tireless.
Thank you for everything, Francis. Rest peacefully.
